advertising and festivals

Hi all, I just got some funding to make my 16mm short film, however one element is that I propose to send it to advertising companies who make commercials, and production companies that make music videos, does any one this board have any contacts like that they would be willing to share, preferably in the north west on England. When I was in England last summer I came accross an annual festival in Ely. It had some big name judges last year if I remember correctly and didn't seem too difficult to get into, cashwise anyway.
